Felsbeck is a comfortable modern bungalow in a quiet cul-de-sac just north of Ambleside town centre within a level 5 minute walk of all amenities or just rurn right out of the drive to a lovely path alongside the babbling Stock Ghyll Beck through fields to some of the best views around. A woodland path or the road under Loughrigg leads down to the northern end of Windermere at Waterhead and the lakeside park with the ruins nearby of the Roman Galava Fort, all only 20 minutes away. Felsbeck is quiet, peaceful and secluded in it's own grounds with stunning uninterrupted westerly views to Loughrigg, the fell overlooking Ambleside. The top of Loughrigg is an easy 30 minutes from the house giving wonderful views to Windermere, the Langdales and the Fairfield horseshoe. Some of the best Lakeland walks long or short can be started straight from the door. Inside, the house is warm spacious and airy as well as being decorated to a high standard while outside there is ample off road parking, secure bike or motorcycle storage with washing facilities if required.

Breakfast is served either in our elegant dining room or on the delightful patio if you prefer. We serve a traditional full English menu with lighter or vegetarian alternatives, wherever possible using local or regional produce. Felsbeck Bed and Breakfast always has a friendly welcome from Tony and his two very well behaved black Labradors, Caillie and Ben. Dogs can be accommodated by special arrangement with Tony, please ask.
